Since past many days, dry weather has been continuing over entire Northeast India. Moreover, days are experiencing pleasant and comfortable weather conditions followed by cold nights. Meanwhile, moderate to dense fog has been taking over the entire state during early morning hours.

At present, with the approaching Western Disturbance across higher latitude, along with Cyclonic Storm Pabuk moving north/northwestwards from Bay of Bengal to Myanmar region, a slight change in temperature pattern would occur during next 24 hours. As a result, temperatures over entire Northeast India will slightly increase. However, this change in pattern being short lived will not continue for long and once again temperatures would start decreasing.

Further, seasonal Cyclonic Circulation over East Bangladesh and adjoining parts of Assam will become active. Due to all these systems, northeastern states such as Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will receive light rain and snowfall over some places.

On the other hand, northern parts of Nagaland as well as southern parts of Tripura may receive light rain at their isolated places. Further, after 24 hours, Assam and Meghalaya will experience partly cloudy sky. Moreover, with an increase in moisture level over entire northeastern states, the intensity of fog will also increase.
