Places in Gujarat can experience above normal temperatures. Cities inclusive of Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vallabh Vidyanagar are experiencing maximum temperatures in the range of 38 and 39 degrees. There are chances of scattered to isolated rain and thunderstorm activities over parts of Gujarat but these rain activities will be very feeble therefore we do not expect any significant relief from hot weather conditions.
Temperatures may drop marginally by 1 or 2 degree in the next 2 to 3 days will increase soon thereafter. Upcoming pre monsoon activities will be confined to Gujarat region and particularly over South Gujarat region. These weather activities will be due to North South trough which will be extending from East Rajasthan to North Madhya Maharashtra across Gujarat. Humid winds from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are feeding moisture over Gujarat and adjoining areas.
These weather activities will not last for long, and in the next 2 to 3 days weather will start clearing up.
