Northeast Monsoon has been seeing weak conditions for the past week with rains on the lower side. After Cyclone Michaung gave intense rains, we have not seen significant rains over these regions.
Moreover, even during the last 24 hours, weather conditions have been the same and similar conditions are likely today. However, we can expect a slight change tomorrow in the weather conditions and a consolatory increase in rainfall activity.
Moreover, we can expect a little uptick in rain from tomorrow i.e. December 15 and continue until December 17. However, even this time, no heavy rains are expected. The regions of North Interior Karnataka and Telangana will be poor but other parts may see some rains.
These showers will take place on account of a cyclonic circulation south of Sri Lanka, Comorin and Maldives region during these mentioned dates. Thus, rainfall will be seen during this time. As it is, Northeast Monsoon sees phases like this when it has 4-5 days of good rain days and then again a weak phase in between.
