Pre Monsoon rains all set to lash parts of Maharashtra

The state of Maharashtra is witnessing heat wave conditions for the past few days. Moreover, sky high maximums have been affecting many parts. However, things are all set to change with some Pre Monsoon activity likely to lash the state.

Rainfall activity is likely to be seen around April 21, 22 and April 23 over the state of Maharashtra. Weather activity is expected to be light around April 21 over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. Southern parts of Madhya Maharashtra may see some activity increasing on April 22 for cities including Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur, which may even be heavy in some parts.

Pre Monsoon activity may even be seen extending up to Pune, however, they will remain light in nature. On April 22 and 23, Vidarbha may not see showers, however, parts of Marathwada may see some weather activities, being light to moderate in nature.

Thereafter, this rainfall is expected to cease after April 23. This spell may result in the abatement of heat wave conditions for some time from the state of Maharashtra.
