During the last 24 hours, dry weather conditions prevailed over the state of Gujarat. In the last few days, the day temperatures have decreased slightly over the region. However, days continue to be slightly warm. nights are pleasant. The sky conditions are partly cloudy.
Presently, an upper air Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Northeast parts of Arabian Sea and adjoining pars of South Gujarat coast in the lower levels. This system would be moving North-Northwest direction slowly. Under the influence of this system, moist winds from Arabian Sea would be affecting Southern parts of Gujarat and Kutch region.
Hence, during the next 48 hours light rains will be affecting over Southern parts of Gujarat and Kutch. Places like Naliya, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Okha, Rajkot, Veraval, Junagarh, Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Navsari, Surat, etc. will be affected by these rains. On November 13, a good spell of rain and thundershowers can be expected over Kutch and Saurashtra. This is when places like Naliya, Bhuj, Kandla, Jamnagar, Surendranagar and Ahmedabad will receive good rains.
Thereafter, the rain intensity will be decreasing over the state. On the other hand, the northeast parts of Gujarat are likely to remain dry meanwhile.
