Madhya Pradesh has been witnessing on and off rains of different intensity in this particular Monsoon season. During the past few hours, the state has received fairly pleasant rains due to the persisting weather systems. In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Saturday, Seoni received 16.8 mm, Guna 12.8 mm, Khajuraho 11.6 mm, Ujjain 7 mm.

In the next 24 hours temperature is likely to increase over Madhya Pradesh as Low Pressure is moving towards Madhya Pradesh region and hence rain intensity will increase after 24 to 36 hours. Eastern parts of the state will continue with humid weather conditions due to the on and off rains which are presently occurring over the state.
Due to these heavy rains, the rain deficit over East Madhya Pradesh has reduced and is likely to become surplus in a few days due to the ongoing rainfall over the region. And the western region is already rain surplus may increase more in numbers.

However, now the prevailing weather system is moving away, rainfall activity is likely to reduce over the West Madhya Pradesh but cloudy sky will prevail over the region and rains may occur over 24 to 36 hours. Temperatures are also below normal levels over most parts of region and these pleasant conditions are likely to prevail.
