As had been reiterated by Skymet Weather, the month of February usually sees frequent western disturbances. A western disturbance affected the hills of north India a few days ago which resulted in very heavy rain and snowfall activity.
Yesterday, another fresh western disturbance approach the western Himalayas and has been giving some rain and snow over the hills of north India. Now with a short break in between, another spell of rain and snow over the hills is expected as a fresh system will be seen on February 5 and will continue until February 6.
There will be a short break on February 7, thereafter, you can expect another system to make an appearance on February 8 which will be a prolonged one and will continue for a few days.
All these western disturbances are expected to be mild in nature and will only have an effect over the Hills and will not cause any disturbance to the plains in terms of any weather activities. In a nutshell, a series of western disturbances are approaching the hills of north India which will result in some other activity over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand as well as Ladakh.
