Steep fall in minimums over Haryana, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

Minimum of Delhi has dropped from 10.2 to 4.7 degree today on January 15. Similar drop of 5 to 6 degree is being witnessed over many parts of Haryana Western parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. IC cold winds from Western Himalayas are sweeping across Northwest and Central India leading to drop in temperatures. Temperatures are expected to drop for the over these states during next 2 to 3 days however now the Drop will be gradual. Minimum of Delhi and NCR come down to 3°. Isolated pockets of Delhi and NCR may witness minimum between two and three degrees.

Cold wave conditions have commenced over parts of a Haryana and at isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh. Delhi and Madhya Pradesh Mein also witness cold wave conditions by tomorrow. Moderate cold winds who will continue leading to drop in a maximum temperature as well. Sky is expected to remain clear with bright sunshine however wind chill will be felt and feel like temperature will be much lower than actual.

A series of Western disturbance is expected to approach Western Himalayas between January in 19 and 25 leading to increase in minimums and gradual abatement of cold wave.
