The eastern parts of the country have begun to witness some rainfall activity. The system that was giving rains over North India has now moved eastwards and is all set to give some unseasonal good rains over East India.
States of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand as well as Bihar are the ones that are expected to see good rains.
Moreover, all the capital cities of East India including Kolkata, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar and Patna are expected to see some rains as well. Rains will mostly be on the moderate side with some heavy passing spells possible in between.
It has been nearly two weeks since both Bhubaneswar as well as Kolkata wherein no rains have been seen. These rainfall activity is expected to be seen at least for the next 3-4 days and situation will improve after January 15.
