The states of Odisha, Chhattisgarh as well as Madhya Pradesh are all set to see some good rains in the coming days. All thanks to the low pressure area which will soon develop in the Bay of Bengal.
A cyclonic circulation is currently stationed over the northeast and north Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, a low-pressure area will form over northwest Bay in the next 12 hours or so. The system will move westward to reach coastal parts of Odisha tomorrow itself and later move over South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts of Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh.
Therefore, today, Odisha will start to see rainfall activities and showers will be confined to this state. Thereafter, starting tomorrow, both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will also see some rain. These rainfall activities an be heavy in some parts as well and may continue until September 6.
