The season of frequent Western Disturbances is slowly creeping in and a feeble one was seen during the weekend. Another fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach the hills by October 13, evening hours. This system will be a prolonged one and will affect North India until October 17-18.
While the hills of North India will see some rain and snow, the plains of North India will also see some weather activities between October 14 and 18. Rains will begin on October 14 and will be seen in the foothills of Punjab and Haryana.
Thereafter, around October 15, the spread and intensity of rains will increase and cover parts of Rajasthan, and even Delhi during this time. Around October 16, parts of extreme West Rajasthan including Jaisalmer, Barmer, and Phalodi may also see some rainfall activities.
Parts of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi may see some moderate rains on October 17 and light showers may be seen over Punjab and Haryana. Clearance will only be seen after October 18. Another feeble system is coming on October 19 but it may not affect the plains as a whole.
