The weather system over the country:

The monsoon trough at the mean sea level now passes through Jaisalmer, Shivpuri, Siddhi, Jamshedpur, Digha, and then in the southeast direction to the East Central Bay of Bengal.

The cyclonic circulation over southeast Rajasthan and adjoining areas extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.

An upper air cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining areas around September 21st. It is expected to move in the Northwest direction. Under its influence a low-pressure area is likely to form over Northwest and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal around September 23rd.

Weather Activity in the last 24 hours:

During the last 24 hours, Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells occurred over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rain occurred over South Chhattisgarh and north coast of Andhra Pradesh.

Light rain occurred over Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North East Rajasthan, southeast Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, and north east India.

Weather Activity in the next 24 hours:

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, north coast of Andhra Pradesh, and parts of Maharashtra.

Light to moderate rain is possible over Telangana, South Madhya Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, and Telangana.

Light rain is possible over Sikkim, northeast India, parts of Odisha, Jharkhand, West Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, south east Rajasthan, and East Gujarat.
