The state of Rajasthan has been observing extreme wintry conditions with minimum even going at freezing point. The city of Churu both yesterday and yesterday recorded the minimum at nil. Different stations of Rajasthan have been observing temperatures near freezing point and winter chill has only been increasing over the state. East Rajasthan is colder than Rajasthan.
West Rajasthan remains much better than eastern parts. Moreover, the temperatures in Rajasthan are lower than the entire plains of North India, making it the coldest state in North Indian Plains.
In view of back to back Western Disturbances, only marginal changes are expected in Rajasthan. Temperatures will not see any further drop and will hover around similar region.
