As per the data by Ministry of Agriculture, This year groundnut sowing has picked up as area covered so far is 0.110 lakh hectares that is up by 0.061 lakh hectares of the last year sowing of the same time. Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh are the largest producer of groundnut.
