December 10, 2014 3:48 PM |

Roger Federer Deepika Padukone IPTLAfter some high intensity tennis and a fun filled weekend in wintry Delhi, the IPTL teams are all set to entice the crowds in Dubai, where the final leg of the tournament will be played. Fans in Dubai will expect some top class action on all the three days (December 11 – 13). The Indian leg came to an end with an exciting match between Federer and Djokovic, the world's top two players.

It was 'double mazaa' for tennis enthusiasts when along with Federer and Djokovic, fans got a glimpse of some of the Bollywood glitterati including Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and our 'khiladi' Akshay Kumar. Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar also spread his magic on the court before tennis stars cast their spell on court. While Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar were smooth on the court, Aamir Khan needed Djokovic and Federer's help to land his serve on the other side!

The IPTL which started in Manila has already been hosted in Singapore and Delhi and will host the final leg in Dubai. Currently the Indian Aces are on a lead with 30 points followed by the UAE Royals at the second place with 27 points.

Tennis stars will experience a difference in terms of weather. Though maximums in both the cities are nearly the same, the difference lies in the diurnal range of the temperature i.e. the difference between maximums and minimums. In Delhi, the minimums drop to 8°C making it pleasantly cool. Whereas in Dubai it only drops to a few degrees from 25 to 22°C making the conditions hot and humid.

Fans in Dubai can expect some tennis giants namely Roger Federer, Pete Smpras, Novak Djokovic, Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, Pat Rafter, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and many others to entertain the crowds at the Hamdan Sports Complex.
