Three tropical storms are likely to bash Philippines this month. As per the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has monitored two low pressure areas. Further, these low pressure areas are expected to convert into tropical depressions as well.
In fact, the Intertropical Convergence Zone due to this low pressure area has been also causing light to moderate showers especially in the Mindanao area. If the Pagasa weather forecast as of 5 pm is to be trusted, the weather system has also been affecting Palawan, Bicol and the Visayas region.
As per the state weather forecasting agency, the low pressure area which was located at 810 kilometers east of Davao city last day has a very low chances of developing into a tropical depression.
However, another low pressure area which at present can be marked outside the Philippine area, located east of the Visayas region is more likely to develop into a tropical depression in another 24 to 48 hours. But has a low possibility of entering the Philippine area of responsibility.
The forecasters further claims that the second low pressure area does not have any direct effect on the country. If at all, it develops into a tropical depression, further entering into the country, the weather system will be termed as “Marce.”
The country though has been foreseen to get slashed by approximately three tropical cyclones in the month of November.
