An hour away from Mumbai, the place is a great weekend getaway. Go via road, rail or simply take a ferry from the Gateway of India. Natural surroundings, beautiful beaches and a great view of the Arabian Sea, Alibaug is a great place to stay away from the city life for a few days. If it rains, you mostly will have to stay inside the hotel, so it would be better to choose a day minus the rain.
