Another spell of heavy rain is expected in Mumbai on Tuesday with 
Weather analysts at Skymet Weather predicting over 80 mm of widespread rain in the city. The situation is expected to prevail for 48 hours.
Going by these predictions, Tuesday is going to be a harrowing time for commuters especially the office goers who may witness heavy traffic jams due to waterlogged roads. Local train services may also get delayed as heavy downpour may lead to railway tracks getting inundated.
There could also be flooding in low lying areas of the city and water may enter the houses here. People living in these areas need to prepare in advance and shift to safer places with their belongings.
Rain is expected to get heavier towards evening and continue with the same intensity for some hours before it subsides.
