A Western Disturbance is seen over North Jammu and Kashmir. With this, rain and snow are expected over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Cloudy weather is likely over rest of the hills.

Talking about the plains, seasonal pattern is prevailing over the region with northerly winds blowing over Northwest India. Foggy mornings are expected over North India including Delhi, Jalandhar, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Ambala. Talking about pollution levels, Delhi pollution will remain on the lower side.
Coming to Central India, an anti cyclone is persisting close to the Gujarat region. Days will remain comfortable with cold nights over many parts of Central India.
Talking about East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over Bangladesh and adjoining Assam. However, weather will remain dry. Meanwhile, fog may occur over various areas of East and Northeast India.

Down South, a cyclonic circulation is over Andaman and Nicobar Islands which is why moderate to heavy rains are expected over the region. Also, a trough is seen extending across Southwest Bay, light rains may occur over coastal parts of Tamil Nadu and South Kerala. Other parts including Chennai will remain dry.
