February 26, 2017 4:33 PM |

The northern hills will continue to witness dry weather in absence of any weather system. Meanwhile, northwestern plains including Delhi-NCR will witness marginal rise in both day and night temperatures.

Due to moist southwesterly winds blowing across Gujarat, drop in temperatures are likely over Kutch as well as coastal regions.

Central India will continue to witness dry weather. Marginal rise in temperatures are expected during next 48 hours on account of an anti-cyclone marked over the region.

Coming to East India, no major change in temperatures is likely for next 24 hours. Thereafter, rise in temperatures are expected.

A low level cyclonic circulation is marked over Assam and adjoining areas. With this, dry weather will prevail over northeastern states, however higher reaches of Arunachal Pradesh may record light rain.

A trough extends along the West Coast. With this, temperatures are expected to drop over the region. Mumbai may register a drop by 2 to 3 degrees. Isolated light rain is expected over South Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands on account of a trough extending up to Sri Lanka.
