Weather Forecast for July 16: Rain in Mumbai, Surat, Hyderabad, Pune

As the, well-marked low-pressure lies over North Coastal Odisha, heavy to very heavy rains are likely over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, parts of Vidarbha, North Telangana and North Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Jharkhand, South Telangana and South Andhra Pradesh will receive scattered rains. Meanwhile, weather will be dry and warm weather over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Further as a cyclonic circulation is over Assam and moist winds are affecting over northeastern states. Therefore, light to moderate rains will continue over the northeastern states including West Bengal and Sikkim.

Besides this, South and Central Gujarat will receive moderate to heavy rains. As the axis of Monsoon trough passes through North Rajasthan and Central Madhya Pradesh. Thus, light to moderate rains will continue over West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Meanwhile, intensity will be more over East Madhya Pradesh.

As the off-shore trough is extending from Maharashtra Coast to Kerala Coast, heavy to very heavy rains will continue over Maharashtra including Mumbai, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. However, light rains will continue over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Interior Karnataka and North Tamil Nadu.

In North India, the Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir, will give light rains over Jammu and Kashmir, while Himachal and Uttarakhand will receive moderate to heavy showers. In fact, East Punjab, Haryana and West UP may also receive rains. Meanwhile, Delhi will be warm and humid. Though, light rain cannot be ruled out.
