Weather Forecast for March 17: Rainy day in North, South and Central India

The Western Disturbance lying over Jammu and Kashmir along with the induced cyclonic circulation will bring fairly widespread rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 2 days. Light showers likely in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Foothills of Punjab and Haryana could also receive some rainfall on the 17th and 18th.

In Northeast, upper parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will continue to receive light rainfall.

Ides of March brought the first spell of pre-Monsoon showers in Peninsular India.

There is a cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh region. We can see a trough extending from West Bengal across Odisha, center of the circulation, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and going right up to Tamil Nadu. Rain and thundershowers likely in proximity of the trough. Tomorrow Kolkata, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Bangalore could receive some rainfall.

The anti-cyclone over Bay of Bengal will continue to bring moist winds from the sea.

Maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi will settle at 30°C and 16°C

In Kolkata maximum temperature will settle around 34°C and minimum will be at 24°C

Maximum in Mumbai will be around 32°C. Night will be cooler at 22°C

Day in Hyderabad will be hot with max at 37°C. Morning will be kind of better with minimum 24°C.
