Weather Forecast for May 4: Dust storm, thunderstorm in Delhi; rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala

The Western Disturbance is moving away eastwards. However, scattered rains will continue over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Isolated pockets of Uttarakhand will observe some weather activity.

Isolated weather activity may continue over Delhi-NCR, western parts of Uttar Pradesh. Foothills of Punjab may also witness some rains.

Coming to East India, a trough is extending from the Bihar region. Due to this, scattered rain, thundershowers are expected over the foothills of East Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Rest of East India will remain dry.

In Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation persists over the Assam region. Also, a trough is running across the Northeast Indian region. With this, thunderstorm and thundershowers will continue over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Coming to South India, the trough running up to Tamil Nadu. With this, isolated rains may occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. Scattered rains are also likely over Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
