In South, an off-shore Trough is extending from North Tamil Nadu to Sri Lanka. Thus, moderate rain with few heavy spells is expected over Tamil Nadu. Rain will also increase over Kerala and it may receive light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells.
Also, light to moderate rain can be seen over South Karnataka and South coast of Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep. North Karnataka, Telangana and North Andhra Pradesh will continue with dry weather conditions.
Amidst this Bengaluru may see light rain while Chennai may see moderate to heavy showers. While Hyderabad will be dry.
Up in the North, wherein the northerly winds are expected to blow over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. Thus, we expect minimums to drop by two to three degrees over these places. The weather will be clear otherwise. Shallow to moderate fog can be seen over parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
The weather over hills will be dry now. Meanwhile in east and northeastern states of our country, wherein light to moderate rain or snow with one or two heavy spells is possible over the hills of Arunachal Pradesh. Scattered rains are possible over East Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. Rest Northeast India will be dry and eastern parts of the country will also continue with dry weather conditions only. Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi all will witness dry weather conditions.
Lastly in Central parts of our country wherein an Anti-Cyclone is over Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. Thus, weather of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat will be dry. Temperatures of North Madhya Pradesh may fall marginally but minimums over Maharashtra and Gujarat may be slightly above normal.
