A Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area is over east-central Arabian Sea and a Cyclonic Circulation is over Southwest Bay of Bengal. A Trough is extending between these two weather systems across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Hence, heavy to very heavy rains are expected over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka. Whereas light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells will be seen over Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and parts of Tamil Nadu along with Coastal Andhra Pradesh. While Telangana may see light to moderate rains. Moderate to heavy rains are also possible over Lakshadweep. Amidst this, Andaman and Nicobar Islands will see light showers. Hyderabad may see light rain while Bengaluru and Chennai will see moderate showers. With this Mangalore, Kozhikode, and Kannur may see hefty showers.
Meanwhile in Central India, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and parts of Vidarbha may get moderate rain with one or two intense spells. Scattered light to moderate rain is possible over Konkan and Goa, South Madhya Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh. Whereas, isolated showers will be seen over East Madhya Pradesh and South Gujarat.
Weather of Rajasthan will be nearly dry.
Moving to the eastern parts of our country wherein light rain with one or two moderate spells is possible over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Jharkhand. Scattered rains will be seen over Northeast India, with dry weather over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Kolkata, Jamshedpur and Ranchi may see light rain.
Finally, up in the North, a Western Disturbance is over northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Thus, scattered light to moderate with isolated snowfall is possible over Jammu and Kashmir. Himachal Pradesh may see isolated light rain while weather of Uttarakhand and northwest plains will be dry.
Delhi pollution to be in moderate to poor category.
