At present Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are rain surplus by 11 percent and with the continuous rains, the rain surplus is likely to increase. However, Assam and Meghalaya are still rain deficit by 20 percent and Arunachal Pradesh by 22 percent.

The rain deficit may reduce to some extent but not completely as the intensity of rain is not very heavy. Weather across the sister states is pleasant and the temperatures will also continue to remain below normal.
