Cyclonic Circulation Causes Rain in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and parts of HaryanaA cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and North Rajasthan has caused good rains in Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Haryana. In the last 24 hours, Kota in Rajasthan received 58 mm of rain. Jaipur also observed 36 mm rain, Bikaner recorded 13 mm rain, comparatively lesser than the other two cities of the state.

Many areas of Madhya Pradesh also received good amount of rainfall due to the effect of the circulation in the last 24 hours. Gwalior received 34 mm of rain, whereas Guna and Indore observed 18 mm and 15 mm rain, respectively. The capital city, Bhopal received 21 mm rain. Hisar in Haryana also received 20 mm rain. However, Delhi received light rain of only 0.2 mm.

Gradually, this weather system will move in the north east direction and rain will continue till March 16. The rain belt will then move towards the areas of West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi. The day temperatures will remain 5 to 6 degrees below normal. By March 17, when the system moves away from these areas, the sun will finally come up and day temperatures will rise again.
