April 11, 2022 9:46 PM |

Delhi weather has been hot and has been resulting in extremely high temperatures across the national capital. So much so that the city has witnessed maximums above the 40 degree mark for the past few days.

Moreover, today, the Safdarjung Observatory has witnessed its maximum at 42.6 degrees Celsius, which happens to be the highest this season. However, now, temperatures are expected to see a change in Delhi and the NCR region.

A Western Disturbance is approaching, which will give some weather over the hills of North India. With this, wind pattern over the plains will change to easterly, increasing the humidity levels.

Also, there is a chance of a thunderstorm activity being witnessed over the National capital during the late evening hours of April 13, being the first of this season. This activity will be a short lived one.

Now, temperatures will see a drop further and possibly for a couple of days, heat wave may remain abated from the region.
