Delhi records lowest minimum of season once again

Delhi and the NCR region have been witnessing low minimums in the last few days. Moreover, minimums were the lowest of the season yesterday at 7.6 degrees Celsius. However, minimums have once again witnessed a drop and are settling at even lower levels at 7.3 degrees Celsius.

In the coming days, minimums will continue to remain so and there may be a drop and minimum temperatures may settle at around 6 degrees Celsius also. Average minimum for Delhi is 13 degrees in the month of November.

There have been two contrasting fortnights in November with the first half seeing an average of 17.7 degrees Celsius as most 0f the times minimums remained at about 15 degrees and even more on occasions in the first half. The second half on the other side saw single digit minimums, with the lowest being today. Minimums have been below normal since last ten days taking the average of the second fortnight to 8.9 degrees, which is about half of the first half of the month.

As far as the Air Quality Index is concerned, they will remain in the very poor category.
