February is the rainiest winter month for Delhi wherein the city accounts for an average monthly rainfall of 22.1 mm. Despite this, Delhi has not recorded any rains so far this month. In fact, the last rains the city had recorded was around January 23 and 24.

Due to the absence of rains and continuous dry weather, both day and night temperatures have also begun to show an upward trend which may climb further as the month approaches.

The average monthly maximum of the city stands at 23.9°C. Meanwhile, the second half of the month has been warmer than the first with the temperatures settling in the range of 25-26 degrees Celsius and minimums hovering in the lower teens.

As per Skymet Weather, as of now, no significant weather system is expected to approach Delhi and NCR. Thus, the city would continue to reel under dry and warm weather conditions for at least a week.

Clear sky with increased sunshine hours is anticipated to prevail and both the day and night temperatures are expected to rise further. However, Skymet Weather predicts the month to end on a cloudy note which is no sooner than February 22 along with the possibility of some light rainy spells between February 24 and 26.
