Dry weather in Delhi to continue, light rain next week

August 11, 2023 11:50 AM |

Delhi and the NCR region have been observing almost dry weather conditions with very light showers observed in the last 24 hours. Moreover, during the last 24 hours, some rains were seen over most parts including Lodhi Road 3.2 mm, Salwan Public School 2 mm, and Safdarjung 0.2 mm.

However, Delhi is likely to see dry weather in the coming days, particularly between today and August 13, rainfall will remain far away as the Monsoon trough is north of its normal position away from Delhi.

On August 14 and 15, light rains may be seen due to the oscillation of the Monsoon trough. However, these rains will not be good enough to give any relief from the ongoing weather conditions.

Maximums may even reach 36-37 degrees and at the same time, the minimum temperatures will also remain on the higher side at around 28-29 degrees.
