Since the last few days, northerly cold winds are continuing over eastern parts of India. These dry and cold winds are responsible for bringing a drop in day and night temperatures over the most states of East India.
At present, most of the places are observing below normal minimums and cool mornings.
In the coming time, we expect a change in the pattern of winds. These northeasterly winds would soon become easterly thereby making the morning hours warm and moist.
Thus, a rise in night temperature is likely. Moreover, there are also chances of a few patchy clouds to develop.
Similarly, in Northern India, the northeasterly winds would be replaced by easterlies and south-easterlies, thereby making the temperatures to rise over most places. This system may also improve foggy conditions over a few pockets.
Further, dry weather will continue over the area in coming days and days will be spent as comfortable and warm.
