East India to witness rains during next 24 hoursFor the past few days, warm and humid weather conditions have been doing the rounds over several parts of East India including Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha as well as West Bengal. In fact, temperatures in some parts were running above the normal levels.

However, tides are about to take a turn as rain gods have decided to bestow some kindness over the residents of East India. Presently, a trough is extending from Northeast India to Odisha across the West Bengal region.

Not only this, the atmosphere across the region is also unstable. Thunderclouds are expected to develop towards afternoon and evening hours of today and tomorrow.

As per weathermen at Skymet, rains along with squally winds and hailstorm may occur over parts of West Bengal, Odisha and a few areas in Jharkhand along with South Bihar during the next 24 hours.

In South Bihar and Jharkhand, rainfall activity will take a backseat tomorrow onward. As far as West Bengal and Odisha are concerned, rainy conditions are expected to continue for the next 24 hours. The possibility of hailstorm in many parts also cannot be ruled out.
