Rains have been witnessed over many parts of the country in the past few days. However, now, most of India is going to see a lull in weather activity for about next four days or so.
In fact, between March 10 and March 13, not much weather activity will be seen in terms of a Western Disturbance or any active Pre Monsoon system.
Presently, a very feeble trough is running along Kerala extending across Karnataka up to Madhya Maharashtra which will result in very little weather activity over these areas. Along with this, there is not any active system over the hills of North India as well, which means, no rains there as well.
Due to the absence of any weather activity, the temperatures are not expected to fall but in turn only see some rise in parts. Temperatures are running above normal by 4-5 degrees over Northeast India.
Thus, for the next few days, do not expect any strong system to make an appearance, which means, no significant rains until March 13.
