Day temperatures in Karnataka are settling near normal in most parts. However, minimums are running slightly below the normal levels in a few areas. Interior parts of Karnataka, northern regions are particularly seeing very cool nights. Now, dry weather will continue for another two to three days.
Due to the formation of a confluence zone from the central parts of the country to Karnataka, scattered rains are expected to occur over many parts of Interior Karnataka on January 26 and 27. Weather will once again start clearing up by January 28, however, Coastal Karnataka will throughout remain dry and warm.
Cities of Bengaluru, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Dharwar, Gadag and Gulbarga are expected to see some rainfall activity.
Places like Agumbe, Hasan, Madikeri will see cold nights and temperatures will be between 10 to 13 degrees Celsius. Other places of Interior Karnataka will have cool nights while Coastal Karnataka will see comfortable nights. Day temperatures in Coastal Karnataka will settle between the lower 30s and the mid 30s ranging between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius.
Day will remain warm over interior parts as well as the temperatures will settle between 29 to 32 degrees Celsius. However, during the rain episode, these temperatures will witness a drop as well.
