The weather in entire Uttar Pradesh has remained almost dry for a while now. After a prolonged dry spell, rains have commenced over many parts of Uttar Pradesh. Although, isolated rainfall activities have been observed in Southwest Uttar Pradesh.
During the last 24 hours, places such as Hamirpur, Banda and Orai received good rainfall activities. Along with this, we expect the spread of rain to cover the West and Central Uttar Pradesh.
This is due to the northward movement of the axis of Monsoon Trough and a cyclonic circulation developing over the East Uttar Pradesh and its adjoining areas. These weather systems will bring in patchy rains for the entire state.
As predicted by the weathermen, these weather systems would help in increasing the rainfall activities. Although the intensity of the rain would not be uniform this spell of rain would come as a huge relief to the state from the ongoing hot and humid weather condition.
Meanwhile, on and off rains are expected to continue till September 3. Thereafter, the intensity of the rains might increase and according to meteorologists at Skymet Weather, we expect light to moderate intensity rains to continue over entire Uttar Pradesh until september 6.
Thus, we can say that the dry spell would now come to an end in the state with a rainy week ahead.
