Besides this, axis of Monsoon trough is also running from Gujarat to East-Central Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, which would further enhance the rains.

However, intensity of rains will be more over western region.

According to weathermen, moderate to heavy rains are likely over Ujjain, Bhopal, Ratlam, Indore and Dhar during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, rest of areas such as Rewa, Satna and Hoshangabad would see light to moderate rains. Few places could also record very heavy spells as well.

With this, flood threat is looming large over the state. Already few areas have been battling water logging problems that had occurred last week.
