The depression which has formed over South Odisha will gradually move in West Northwest direction. Although it may lose some of its intensity, but it will give moderate to heavy rain over eastern districts of Gujarat as well as over South and East Rajasthan.
Usually, the low-pressure area or depression which moves across Centre parts of the country has a pull effect over West Coast leading to increased rain activities over Gujarat, coastal parts of Maharashtra as well as over Karnataka coast.
Rain activities over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai and suburbs will be heavy to very heavy between September 13 and 15. There are chances of widespread flash floods and water logging over these areas. This may be the red alert a situation for North Madhya Maharashtra South Gujarat as well as for Mumbai.
Many districts of West Madhya Pradesh may also witness heavy rain between September 13 and 15. Places like Dewas, Shajapur, Ujjain, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani , Alirajpur, Jhabua, Ratlam, Ujjain, indore and Bhopal may receive heavy flooding downpour.
