God’s own country, Kerala received moderate to heavy rains during second and third week of October. Due to this, the state became rain surplus by huge margin. However, since then the weather is almost dry with isolated light rains.

In past 2-3 days, scattered rains have occurred over Kerala and still it is rain deficient by 2%. Now, a well-marked low-pressure area is over Southwest Bay of Bengal and it’s adjoining areas. This system might give scattered rains over Kerala until November 9.

The rain intensity will be light on November 6 and 7 and it is expected to increase thereafter on November 8 and 9. Post this, the weather will once again become dry.

As per Skymet Weather, another spell of rain is expected in Kerala around November 13 and 14. During that time, low pressure area would move across Bay of Bengal towards state of Tamil Nadu. Due to the influence of this system, Kerala might receive few good spells of rain.

However, the intensity won’t be much, and the rainfall level would remain near normal only.
