During the last 24 hours, three-digit rainfall occurred over Hanamkonda, Nandyal, Kavali, and Parbhani. In the last 24 hours, Hanamkonda and Warangal recorded 118 mm each, Nandyal 105 mm, Kavali 124 mm, and Parbhani recorded very heavy rain of 186 mm.

In fact, almost all the districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have recorded good rain and thundershower activities during the last 24 hours.

This low-pressure area will intensify into a well-marked low and would progress Monsoon in West-Northwest direction. Rain activities are expected to intensify for over many parts of Telangana including Hyderabad. There are bright chances of 3-digit rainfalls over many districts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana as well as Marathwada and Vidarbha during the next 48 hours.

These heavy rains will mark the onset of monsoon over the parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, and some more parts of Andhra Pradesh.
