Scattered light to moderate rain was observed over Lakshadweep Islands, Kerala and Tamil Nadu during last 24 hours. While, isolated light showers were recorded overKarnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Gangetic West Bengal and northeastern states.
In span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Aminidivi recorded 15 mm of rainfall, Minicoy 2 mm,Kottayam32.8 mm,Thiruvananthapuram11 mm,Kanyakumari11.1 mm,Palayamkottai5 mm,Coonoor3.8 mm,Mangalore5 mm,Diamond Harbour17.6 mm, Banihal 1.8 mm and Kokernag 0.6 mm.
Forecast for next 24 hours
According to Skymet, scattered light to moderate rain is expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal during next 24 hours.
Rest of the country including entire North, West and Central India will witness mainly dry weather conditions on Thursday.
