The famous tourist spots of Kashmir like Gulmarg, Qazikund and Srinagar have been recording snowfall activity, which made the view breathtaking. Undoubtedly, Kashmir is truly the paradise on earth, and winters add more charm to the region.

During the past 24 hours, light to moderate snowfall occurred over the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.  Meanwhile, light rain was observed in parts of the lower regions of the state. Simply, we could attribute the weather activity to the Western Disturbance that confined its effect over the higher reaches of the state.

As per Skymet Weather, light rain and snow is likely to continue over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Thereafter, the weather is anticipated to become dry once again for the next following days. Another spell is likely around February 6 and 7, when a fresh Western Disturbance would approach the Western Himalayas.
