Parts of North India along with hills and some parts of plains of North India have seen some rainfall activities. Moreover, Shimla recorded a whopping 50 mm of rains. Other parts saw light rains including Manali, Qazi Gund, Ambala, Patiala, Sri Ganganagar etc.
Today, Pre Monsoon activities are expected to be seen over Delhi and adjoining areas as well. States of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and some areas of Rajasthan. Tomorrow, these Pre monsoon activities may see a reduction but some parts will expect to see a few thunderstorm and rainfall spells.
Thereafter, on May 6, there will be a reduction in these activities significantly, and may cease during that time. Temperatures have remained in check over most parts of North India due to this spell, and temperatures in these areas have remained in teh high 30s.
