Pre Monsoon rains may play spoilsport at IPL games

May 1, 2023 5:06 PM |

The Indian Premier League has completed more than half of its leg and rain gods have mostly been kind over the cities where these games have been played.

However, with the Pre Monsoon season in full swing, it seems like some hindrance is expected in parts of the country starting today.

Today, the Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore where Pre Monsoon rains may be seen. Rains may be seen before the match begins, however, there may not be rainy spells during the game which begins at 7:30 PM.

Tomorrow, the game will be played between Gujarat Titans and the Delhi Capitals. We can expect cloudy conditions with a very slight possibility of rains as rains have been seen on and off in the past few days, but we do not expect rainfall activities to hinder the game.

On May 3, two games will be played. One between the Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings at 3:30 PM in Lucknow, wherein rains may play a spoilsport over the game. The second game between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians being held in Mohali at 7:30 PM may also see some Pre Monsoon showers which may cause some kind of a hindrance over the game.
