The state of Madhya Pradesh has been seeing some rainfall activity. East and North Madhya Pradesh are the regions where light rainfall has been occurring in the last 24 hours.
These rainfall activities the presence of a cyclonic circulation which is currently persisting over the Northwest Bay of Bengal. In fact, the system is expected to intensify into a low-pressure area during the next 24 to 48 hours. A trough is extending from this circulation to western parts of Bihar. These systems will move west northwestwards gradually.
As this system will be moving west northwestwards, and intensifying further, moderate to heavy rainfall activities are expected over East Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate showers are expected over North Madhya Pradesh due to the presence of the trough.
Since, westerly winds are prevailing over West Madhya Pradesh which are dry in nature, hence, warm and humid weather with cloudy sky conditions will prevail over western parts of Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
As the upcoming low-pressure area would be moving towards the Madhya Pradesh region after 36 to 48 hours, rains will witness an increase over West Madhya Pradesh also. Due to this, both minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to remain on the lower side.
