Rains coming up for many parts of Maharashtra

The state of Maharashtra saw deluge during July due to back to back Low Pressure areas were moving through and through of the state. However, the last two Cyclonic Circulations were moving northwards towards Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Thus, Maharashtra has not seen heavy rains for the last few days.

Now, rains are expected to return from August 2. On August 2, rains will be on the lighter side. From August 3, until August 7, rains will be good. Rains will be on the reducing side on August 7.

Marathwada may see some heavy rains on August 4 and 5 followed by Vidarbha seeing some heavy rains on August 6. Madhya Maharashtra including Pune, Nashik, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, and Solapur will see light rains but around August 6, good showers are likely.
