The state of Tamil Nadu has been receiving on and off rainfall activities for the past few days. Moreover, coastal parts of the state have seen some light rainfall activity in the last 24 hours.
Rainfall spread is expected to see an increase around February 26 over the state of Tamil Nadu right from the capital city of Chennai to the southernmost tip of Kanyakumari. These rains will continue for a few days.
In fact, significant rainfall activity is expected during the first week of March, due to a Low-Pressure Area or a Cyclonic Circulation forming over the Bay of Bengal travelling across the coast reaching Tamil Nadu. This system will only make an appearance around March 2nd-3rd.
