Skymet's Meteorology Division in India predicts rain in Delhi on Saturday

According to Skymet's Meteorology Division, India, the cold and dry weather in Delhi will start witnessing moisture incursion from tomorrow onwards as the southwesterly winds will blow from the Arabian Sea. As a result the sky in Delhi will become cloudy by Friday midnight and will remain the same throughout Saturday with chances of rain.

Skymet's Metereology Division explains that a cyclonic circulation over west Rajasthan and the Western Disturbance over Jammu & Kashmir which is travelling more southward this time will bring rain in Delhi. However, rain will not last long and the weather may clear up by Saturday night itself. So after some rain on Saturday, the weather on Sunday will be pleasant with clear skies.

With this latest weather update, the people in Delhi are expected to get some reprieve from the cold nights as the single digit minimums being witnessed for the last couple of days will rise to make Saturday morning less cold.The Safdarjung observatory recorded a minimum of 8.2°C on Thursday, two notches below normal. Meanwhile, the night temperature at the Palam observatory rose more than 3°C from Wednesday and settled at 10.4°C on Thursday morning.

The day temperature in Delhi remained normal for the second straight day since Tuesday. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Wednesday settled at 23.3°C. And the latest weather update by Skymet's Metereology Division, India expects this temperature to maintain till Friday.
