Due to frequent landslides in the hilly region of Himachal Pradesh during these Monsoon months, it becomes less advisable to take a road trip in these highways of Himachal Pradesh. Areas including Chandigarh-Manali National and the Chandigarh-Shimla highway are areas which should usually be avoided during this period.

During the next 24 hours also, some rainfall activity is expected to continue over these areas of Himachal Pradesh making weekend travel over these regions a bad idea for now.
