If you are actually looking for an option to beat the heat that has engulfed almost the entire country, the hills of North India are your best bet. Moreover, the pleasant and clear weather across northern hills are another reason why visiting the hills of North India is a good choice at present.

Here we give you a brief weather summary of some of the top and most favored hill spots of the North India that will help you to backpack in advance.

Srinagar: The top favorite and Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital Srinagar is likely to witness cool mornings and nights with the minimum temperatures settling at a chilling range of 5°C-6°C. Partly cloudy sky is expected to prevail during this weekend. The day temperatures in the so-called ‘Venice of Kashmir’ are expected to settle between 24°C-25°C. Hence, don’t forget to pack woolens that will be required during early morning and night hours.

Shimla: The capital of Himachal Pradesh is well reckoned for its hills and thus is one of the reasons it welcomes tourists almost all through the year. Clear sky with only a few clouds is expected to show up in the so-called ‘Queen of hills’ this weekend. Maximum temperatures are likely to stay between 23°C and 25°C while the minimum will also settle close to 14°C. Hence, woolens are though not required much but cool morning and night will prevail.

Manali: Manali is yet another glamorizing and romantic hill station of Himachal Pradesh that welcomes visitors all the twelve months of the year. This weekend, Manali is expected to witness the night temperatures settling at a bone chilling range of 4°C- 6°C. The daytime high are also likely to settle near 18°C which arises the need for you to carry woolens along. Few clouds can though be observed but rain is not a possibility.

Nainital: This famous hill station of Uttarakhand is known for its scenic beauty. Pear shaped lake amidst the mountainous terrains describes Nainital best. The minimum temperatures across the city are expected to settle between 15°C-16°C while the daytime high can be between 25°C and 16°C. Afternoon is likely to stay warm with the possibility of thundershowers on April 14. Rains are quite often here and this weekend also, chances of isolated light rains persist.

Dharamsala: Cool and pleasant weather awaits for you in Dharamsala this weekend. The maximum temperature is expected to settle between 27°C-28°C. Cool and pleasant weather is expected to prevail in the city as the minimum will settle near 12°C.

Mussoorie: The charming hilltop of Uttarakhand, Mussorie will have partly cloudy sky with light rain on April 14. The daytime high will remain close to 26°C while the minimums may settle close to 13°C.

Thus, the hilly states of North India are expected to witness pleasant weather which is crucial for a trip.
